John C. Banahm, The Oceanside Library's Photography Club & Members of the Oceanside Library Staff

**John C. Banham is a local artist and veteran who served in both World War II and the Korean War where he earned a Bronze Star for his service. He has a lifelong passion for art, his diverse body of work include use of many various types of materials. Over a decade ago, he developed a unique artistic technique, meticulously cutting extremely small pieces of colored paper and assembling them on canvas to create impressionistic works. 

** The Oceanside Library Photography Club headed by professional phototograher Penny Frondelli meets monthly with a passion for the art of photography. Members range in years of experience level but the common thread of seeing the world through the lens of their cameras (or phones!).
