Bio: Contemporary American Artist Jim Minet paints from his Long Island studio, where oil, acrylic, and watercolor become his chosen languages of expression. His artistic journey has been shaped by communities such as the Salmagundi Club in Manhattan, Guild Hall in East Hampton, and Mills Pond Gallery in St. James.
Trained at The Art Students League and a former instructor at the 92nd Street Y, Jim’s path has always circled back to painting. In 2021, he embraced his calling fully, devoting his days to creating and teaching. He now shares his passion and vision with students at the Nassau County Museum of Art’s Manes Center and Mills Pond Gallery, inspiring others to see the world through the painter’s eye.
